To reduce the injury of continuous cropping of green pepper in vinyl house, the experiments were carried out in pots ('85) as well as in the field ('86) with application of few soil amendments. The soils of green pepper continually cultivated were rich in available P2O5, extractable K and Na with higher electric conductivity in soil solution. By the application of Zeolite, the content of available P2O5 and Ec5 in the soils and the content of CaO and MgO in the plant decreased while th1882e content of extractable K in the soils and the content of SiO2 and K2O in the plant increase. The relationships were found that the contents of available P2O5 in the soils at middle stage of pepper plant were positively correlated and the contents of extractable Mg negatively correlated with the rates of phytophthora blight. On the other hand, the extractable cations such as Ca and Na were negatively correlated with phytophthora blight at the late stage of pepper plant, but the electric conductivities were positively correlated in any stage. The growth of pepper plant in the plot of Zeolite 3t/10a was better than the control and the yield of green pepper increased about 18-32 % by application of Zeo
