The influence of sprinkling and four levels of nitrogen fertilization (0, 80, 160, 240 kg N/ha) on1748the quality of sugar beet yield was investigated at differentiated phosphorus (0, 90, 180 kg P205/ha) and potassium (0, 120, 240 kg K20) fertilization. The fodder value of roots and leaves slightly decreased under sprinkling conditions due to a lower content of protein, calcium and magnesium whereas it improved by an increase of the phosphorus content. The greatest influence on the content of certain components was exerted by nitrogen fertilization. Fertilization with phosphorus and potassium differentiated mainly the content of components in roots whereas phosphorus fertilization influenced this content in lea
