The study was carried out on 25 sheep of the Polish Merino breed and 20 sheep of the Bulgarian Merino breed. The thickness of the skin papillary layers, the density of follicles and hairs and the0993 relationships between the primary and secondary follicles in the skin samples from the flank and the shoulder was measured.
