Based on the evaluation and analysis of the data, the following results were obtained in this study. Using the Extreme Values Law, 80% dependable flow for the months of January to December are 2,536; 1,485; 1513; 1,337; 1,754; 4,935; 9,806; 16,185; 17,631; 8,776; 3,751; and 3,804 liters per second respectively. The cropping intensity using the following cropping patterns: rice-rice, rice-corn and rice-vegetables in the area at 50% irrigation systems efficiency are 141%, 16% and 168%, respectively. The present cropping intensity of 136% in the area could be increased to 141% by improving the irrigation system efficiency to 50%. Planting of crops other than rice with the same length of growing season in combination with rice in the cropping pattern showed a potentia0824l increase of 17% to 30% in crop intens
