At the Agricultural Research Station of Secuieni, Neamt county during 1981-1983 under non-irrigated conditions, it was studied the influence of turning to account of mineral fertilizers depending on the density of the Ostara, Desiree and Eba varieties. There were observed the interaction relationship of fertilizers doses, of plants density on the total production, commercial production, mean weight of one tuber, number of creeping stem1678s/ha, starch content and some agrochemical indices of the soil. After a density increase at planting there were obtained the following results : the total tubers production increased in the 3 varieties on the majority fertilizing levels until the density of 65 thousands pl/ha; the mean weight of a tuber decreased at 3 varieties and on all fertilizing levels from 98 to 48,5 g; the number of creeping stems increased from 178 to 265 thousands/ha; the starch content of Ostara variety increased from 67,7 to 69,3%. After applying big P doses during 3 years the mobile P content in the soil dou
