Onion bulbs (white and Red local cultivars) stored at 0, 5, 10, 20 deg C and at ambient temperature 10-25 deg C for five months. Results showed that studied bulbs characterstics were increased when both duration and temperature of storage increased. 0 deg C was the best degree for keeping cultivar bulbs in a sound dormant state, it decreased significantly sprouting, rooting, decay and weight loss percentages. High storage temperature (10 and 20 deg C) significantly increased sprouting, decay and weight losses. Ambient temperature significantly decreased rooting and decay, but it statistically increased sprouting and weight loss
