[Epidemiological observations on Sinoxylon sexdentatum Oliv. and Amphicerus (=Schistoceros) bimaculatus Oliv. (Coleoptera Bostrychidae) on grape vine in Apulia [Italy]]

إنجليزي. The results of severe damage (28 plants destroyed), on a two year-old vineyard, are discussed. Piles of pruned old vinebranches and an untended old vineyard, both attacked by Bostrychidae Sinoxylon sexdentatum Oliv. and Amphicerus (=Schistoceros) bimaculatus Oliv. caused the infestation in the above mentioned newly planted vineyard located nearby. The most prevalent species found in the young vineyard was S. sexdentatum, even though the damage was greater on plants infested with A. bimaculatus because of the dimension of this insect. Sinoxylon was found for two years whereas Amphicerus was present only in the first year. Denops albofasciatus Charp., a well-known predator of Bostrychidae, was found only in the piles of pruned vine-branches. After the destruction of the pruned vine-branches and eradication of the old vineyard, the infestation declined largely during the second year and disappeared in the following years

إيطالي. In seguito ad un grave attacco di Bostricidi su giovani viti in agro di Tressanti (Foggia), sono state fatte osservazioni epidemiologiche per circa un triennio. Le specie riscontrate erano Sinoxylon sexdentatum Oliv. e Amphicerus (=Schistoceros) bimaculatus Oliv. di cui il primo piu pericoloso. Osservazioni biologiche, sulle due specie, sono state seguite in campo ed in laboratorio. L'infestazione, dovuta essenzialmente alla presenza di cataste di sarmenti di potatura abbandonate, ai margine del vigneto, distrusse il 28 per cento delle viti. Il Cleride Denops albofasciatus Charp. era presente ma non risultava in gradi di controllare detti Bostrichidi. Il regresso e la scomparsa dell'infestazione sono stati ottenuti semplicemente con l'eliminazione delle cataste di sermenti, l'estirpazione di un vigneto vecchio confinante e la collocazione di fascine esca
