Kids of the Slovak White breed (short-wool polled one which is oriented mainly to milk production), were fed exclusively goat milk during their start rearing from 6 to 41 days. After a transient period of habituation they were administered hay and concentrate mixture COJ II till the age of 19 weeks. The kids were divided into two groups - experimental and control one (n=18 and 19); the method and amount of feeding were the same in both groups but the kids of group I were given per oral supplements of Juvenil tissue preparation. In the course of 138-day experiment the kids of group I achieved the final live weight of 20.88 kg (their initial weight was 3.78 kg), the kid of group II had the live weight of 19.68 kg (their initial weight was 3.51 kg) (t=1.2798-P0.05). The results were analyzed in view of carcass quality. The dressing percentages of group I and II were 43.88 per cent and 43.49 per cent, respectively (P0.05). The cuts of carcass analysis correspond to the differences in dressing percentage. The proportions of tissues in the carcass: group I (experimental) - flesh 71.83 per cent, fat 4.42 per cent, bone 23.83 per cent; group II - flesh 71.80 per cent, fat 4.43 per cent, bones 23.77 per cent (the differences are not statistically significant - P0.05).
