An experiment was conducted at Cikeumeuh experiment farm from June to August 1989, Bogor to find out optimum dosage of N, P and K on yield and yield components of sweet corn. The experiment was laid out in a factorial arrangement in a randomized block design with three replications, and three factors. The first factor was nitrogen applications with three levels, namely N0 (without nitrogen), N1 (90 kg N/ha) and N2 (135 kg N/ha). The second factor was phosphorus applications with three levels: P0 (without P205), P1 (45 kg P2O5/ha) and P2 (90 kg P2O5/ha), and the third factor was potassium applications with two levels: K0 (without K2O) and K1 (30 kg K2O/ha). The results showed that only the nitrogen applications affected yield and components of the sweet corn, the applications of P2O5 and K2O did not. The application 90 kg N/ha gave no different effects on yield and yield components of the corn compared to that applied with 135 kg N/ha, except for ear classification and fresh weight of plants.
