إنجليزي. The effect of acid rain and of long-term storage on the concentration of carboxylic acids in apple has been studied. The carboxylic acids have been separated by means of high performance ionic chromatography. Malic, citric, succinic and fumaric acids have been determined. In the case of long-term storage the malic acid content was decreased of about 25 %
