إنجليزي. In this report we describe the technical lines of swine manure treatment that we have worked out as members of the Rural Engineering Institute. In particular, we summarize the general experiences of treatment of the liquid fraction and the more recent ones regarding the application of static composting to the solid fraction of swine manure using vegetal byproducts (straw). In the last part, we describe our work project which aims at obtaining "swine litter" directly in piggeries. At present, the Institute of Rural Engineering is carrying out tests for the above-mentioned research

In particolare, si riassumono le esperienze generali di trattamento della frazione liquida e quelle piu' recenti relative all'applicazione del compostaggio statico alla frazione solida delle deiezioni suine con sottoprodotti vegetali (paglia trinciata e non). Si descrive, infine, il progetto di ricerca relativo all'ottenimento di "letame suino" direttamente nel luogo di stabulazione, attualmente condotto dall'I.G.R. di Bologna
