Organic matter and proteins in situ degradability of diets with different energetic density. Observations in buffaloes and ovines

إنجليزي. The Authors measured, in buffaloes and rams, the organic matter and crude proteins in vivo rumen degradability of 4 diets differing for structural carbohydrates content. Considering the same passage rate, buffaloes showed, except for the diet poor in fibrous constituents, higher degradation rates and effective degradabilities. So these diets, when utilized by buffaloes, produce lower quantity of PDIA, higher of PDIMN and often of PDIME. The content of PDIN results almost similar in the two species while differences could be found between PDIE values

Gli Autori hanno misurato in situ in bufali e montoni la degradabilita' ruminale della sostanza organica e delle proteine grezze di 4 diete differenti per contenuti in glucidi parietali. Trovano che, ad eccezione della dieta piu' povera in costituenti fibrosi, negli altri casi, a parita' di velocita' di transito ruminale, i bufali mostrano rispetto agli ovini velocita' di degradazione e degradabilita' effettive piu' elevate. Ne consegue che queste diete, se utilizzate da bufali, forniscono quantita' minori di PDIA, maggiori di PDIMN e, sovente di PDIME. Quindi, mentre nelle due specie il contenuto in PDIN risulta pressoche' sovrapponibile, differenze possono aversi tra i valori PDIE
