Effect of the agrometeorological conditions on soybean phenological development
1996
Georgiev, G. (Institut po Soyata, Pavlikeni (Bulgaria))
The effect of agrometeorological conditions on soybean development was studied during the period: sowing-germination; germination-anthesis; anthesis-ripening. The data were collected from field trials conducted during the period 1985-1993. It was found that during the entire vegetation period of soybeans, temperature and the stocks of productive moisture in the soil was of greatest importance for soybeans. In the period anthesis-ripening in conditions of natural moisture the effect of minimal air moisture had also a considerable influence. The correlations found showing the relation between agrometeorological conditions and duration of the periods are expressed in quantitative values by linear regression equations, while their reality is confirmed by check up with independent data.
