About the yield fluctuation and the chemical composition of soybeans
1996
Stefanov, S. (Institut po Soyata, Pavlikeni (Bulgaria))
It was found that on a 20-year average, maintenance of optimal irradiation regime with 75 of maximal soil moisture in the 60-80cm soil layer with average irradiation rate 120-160 mm (for two irradiations), the yield of soybean grain increased by 53 or 116 kg/dka as compared to the control, without irradiation (table 1). The increase varied from 4 to 96 depending on the degree of drought in the individual years. The mean yield value for that period (1975-1994) in this country was 120 kg/dka, while for the experimental conditions without irrigation it was 219 kg/dka and with irrigation - 335 kg/dka.
