Because of increasing demand for cotton products there has been a reviewed interest in reviving the cultivation of cotton (gossypium spp.). West Indian sea island cotton, was extensively grown in the Leeward island where production achieved its fullest commercial development in 1930. The document presents information on the cultivation of cotton including varieties, spacing, planting, fertilizer application, pest and disease control, weed control and harvesting are discussed.
