This experiment was located in Chacabuco, in the northern part of Buenos Aires province, in order to show the value of multitemporal Landsat satellite data with high spacial resolution to assess the damage of several plots of prairies affected by a flood. The Landsat bands used were 3, 4 and 5 of the visible, the near infrared and middle infrared, respectively

Esta investigacion fue localizada en Chacabuco, en el norte de la provincia de Buenos Aires, con el fin de mostrar la utilidad de estudios multitemporales con imagenes satelitales Landsat TM de alta resolucion espacial para determinar las areas con pasturas afectadas por anegamientos. Se usaron la bandas 3, 4 y 5 que captan la energia reflejada en rangos del visible, infrarrojo cercano e infrarrojo medio, respectivamente
