Phylogenetic relationships, morphologic and genetic similarity within and between different wild forms and domestic sheep were tested. 262 specimens of 9 wild forms and 19 breeds were included in the comparison. 158 domestic sheep were investigated by 15 enzyme loci and 205 animals of 14 breeds and 1 wild form, O. musimon, by RAPD (30 primer) analyses
