Inundation of the Labe river - a source of xenobiotic substances in soil

The content of xenobiotic substances in soil in meadow inundated by Elbe river has been compared with their content in soil in two non-inundated meadows. Sample was taken from the sod horizon, from a depth of 0 to 20 cm, 20 to 30 by the punctures made by the probe bar. The total content of As, Hg, Cd, Pb, Cr, Ni, Cu and Zn (decomposition of the mixtures HNO3, HClO3 and HF) was determined in each taken soil sample from potentially hazardous elements, and except Hg also in the extract 2M HNO3, of organic xenobiotic substances PCB (congeners by the nomenclature IUPAC No. 28, 52, 101, 118, 138, 153, 180 and the total content - Delor 103 + Delor 106), chlorinated pesticides, PAU, chlorinated and nitrated phenols, triazines, strippable nonpolar volatile substances, aromatic amines and nitroaromates. The soil inundated by Elbe contains higher number of all hazardous elements than the non-inundated soils.
