Morbidity and deaths in an experimental flock of sheep grazing in a rubber plantation were observed for one year, January through December, 1993; at Suka Damai station, Sungai Putih Research and Assessment Installation for Agricultural Technology (RAINAT). Sheep were divided into seven age categories for observation; birth, 0-2 weeks, 2 weeks - 3 months, 3-6 months, 12-24 months and more than 24 months. Sheep that died underwent post-mortem examination with causes of death recorded according to the organ(s) affected. Cases of morbidity were also recorded according to the body organ affected. The highest number of deaths occurred in the months of January and September 1993. The major causes of deaths were diseases of the gastro-intestinal tract. Coccidiosis had fatal consequences to lambs aged 1-3 months
