The first of a number of environmental profiles by the Environmental Profile Project of the Ministry of Environment and Toursim. It deals with the region of Caprivi which forms a finger-like projection in the north-east of Namibia. The text includes information on landscape, land types, climate, administration and governance, human population, soils, vegetation, farming systems, wild animal resources, rivers, wetlands, water supply , development and conservation. The rich illustrations consist of plates, maps, tables and graphs, all in full colour.
