It was found that all furanocoumarin complexes and fractions from Archangelica officinalis Hoffm. and Heracleum sosnowskyi Manden. fruits at concentration lower than 100 microg/ml inhibit growth of dermatophytes of Trichophyton and Microsporum genera. The fraction AO 2 showed the highest activity. It inhibited dermatophytes growth at concentrations below 5-10 microg/ml. This fraction contains 96.6 percent of imperatorin and 3.4 percent of isobergapten. On the basis of this results one can suppose that furanocoumarin complexes and fraction obtained from above mentioned plants can be use for treatment of mycosis caused by dermatophytes
