Providing the farms with technical equipment for agricultural mechanization and electrification

Simple methods for evaluating reproductive value of the equipment for farm mechanization and electrification and other technical means used in agriculture were described. At known present and future reproductive values of technical means the necessary capital expenditures for purchasing tractors and machines may be estimated. The reproductive value of fitting Polish agriculture with mechanical means, according to 1995 prices, amounting presently 88400 million PLN will total 120000 million PLN in 2020. The value of equipment will increse from 4.7 to 6.9 thousand PLN/ha arable land, or by 47%. Thus, the annual outlay on technical means should come up to 278 PLN/ha arable land
