إنجليزي. Two different evaluation methods for testing sensitivity to antibiotics of bacteria commonly involved in bovine mastitis were compared. The Kirby-Bauer agar diffusion method and the automatic test were applied to 145 different strains. According to our result the automatic test appears to be not reliable for testing Staphylococcus aureus resistance, while St. agalactiae did not show any great difference with both methods
