إنجليزي. The AA report the results obtained by researches about the chromium content in the hays produced and used in 70 farms of the Province of Parma. From the reliefs effected it appears that the trace-element is present in the hays in rates very changeable and not always corresponding to the theoretical need of the dairy cattle, being in the 33% of the farms inferior to the minimal value that is considered necessary to prevent deficiency diseases (0.40 ppm), as, in the 45% of the cases, the rates do not cover the yield requirements. Making a correlation between the analytical reports and the frequence of the diseases found in the farms, the AA could observe that the low fertility and infertility and the mastitis and the neonatal diarrhoea do present a bigger incidence in the farms in which the hays have a low rate of chromium

Dai rilievi effettuati e' emerso che l'oligoelemento e' presente nei fieni con quote molto variabili e non sempre corrispondenti al fabbisogno teorico delle bovine, essendo nel 33% delle aziende inferiori al valore minimo ritenuto indispensabile per evitare turbe carenziali (0.40 ppm), mentre, nel 45% dei casi, di entita' tale da lasciare scoperte le esigenze di produzione. Correlando i reperti analitici con la frequenza delle sindromi morbose rilevate negli allevamenti, gli AA hanno potuto constatare che la ipo e infecondita', le mastiti e la diarrea neonatale si presentano con una maggiore incidenza nelle aziende i cui foraggi sono caratterizzati da un basso tasso di cromo
