Effect of different agroecological factors on yield and quality of peppermint

The present study shows the results of field plot experiments with peppermint (Mentha piperita) carried out in four different locations with different climate in hilly-mountainous and lowland regions. Filed experiments were performed on soils differing in their pedological and agrochemical properties. Yields varied more significantly in dependence on soil quality and climate than in qualitative traits (essential oil content, contents of macro- and microelements in plant tissues).
