Agenda 2000 impacts on the financial situation of farms in selected existing and future member states

In the paper we present some partial results of the research project "Evaluation of Farm Level Impacts of Agricultural Policy Developments in the Process of Further EU Integration in Selected Visegrad and EU Countries". Within the project, selected farms of five countries (Germany, Scotland, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia) were investigated. Several scenarios of agricultural policy were applied in the research. Except the scenario containing the elements of existing policy, we examined impact of Agenda 2000 on economic results of selected countries farms in years 2002-2007. Calculations of models show that application of Agenda 2000 would not have significant impact on economics of EU farms. There is different situation in case of candidates for EU countries and Slovakia.
