This study was carried out to evaluate the suitability to slurry disposal on soils of a particularly protected land from an environmental point of view, for the presence of numerous drinkable water wells. The soils were classified on the basis of characteristics and properties of the soil covering, to allowe this type of utilization. Therefore, the environmental limitations were evaluated as well as those due to the soil physical conditions and particularly those which govern the water movement in the soil, its cleaning capacity and other complex qualities, as the Winter rain acceptance capacity and the Poaching risk. Also considering an evaluation system of the soil suitability for slurry acceptance by the Soil Service of England and Wales, the relative classes were defined and suitable maps illustrating the soil locations were elaborated

[Questo studio e' stato condotto per valutare l'attitudine allo spandimento agronomico dei liquami zootecnici su terreni di un'area particolarmente protetta dal punto di vista ambientale, per la presenza di numerosi pozzi per acqua potabile. I terreni sono stati classificati sulla base delle caratteristiche e delle proprieta' dello strato di copertura del suolo, al fine di consentire questo tipo di utilizzazione. Pertanto, sono state valutate le limitazioni di carattere ambientale, cosi' come quelle dovute alle condizioni fisiche del terreno e, particolarmente, quelle che regolano il movimento dell'acqua nel terreno, la sua capacita' depurativa e altre qualita' complesse, come la Capacita' di accettazione potenziale delle piogge invernali e il Rischio di calpestamento. Considerando pure un sistema di valutazione dell'attitudine del terreno allo spandimento agronomico elaborato dal Soil Service of England and Wales, sono state definite le relative classi e sono state elaborate mappe illustranti la zonazione dei terreni]
