In experiments carried out in the years 1993-96 the effect of irrigation and cultivation systems (organic, integrated and conventional) on the content and uptake of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and magnesium in pea yields was investigated. The examined factors changed only the content of nitrogen by 18.8 percent, phosphorus by 17.6 percent, potassium by 5.2 percent and magnesium by 12.1 percent. The integrated and conventional system, in comparison to organic one, increased the uptake of nitrogen, respectively by 17.6 and 25.4 percent, phosphorus by 20.6 and 33.7 percent, potassium by 18.6 and 40.1 percent and magnesium by 24.0 and 46.0 percent
