The studies were carried out to evaluate the utilization of nitrogen applied to the soil with putrified sewage water by fodder maize and grasses. Irrigation with sewage water containing considerable quantities of nitrogen caused a little increase of total and easy to hydrolize nitrogen content in corn crop, however content of those elements in grasses decreased. There were no accumulation of mineral and organic nitrogen in soil irrigated with sewage water in both grasses and corn crops. Nitrogen content in corn leaves and grains as well as in grass hay was very little in spite of big nitrogen quantities provided into the soil with sewage water
