This book has been written to help the extension people and farmers working in the field to identify and contrl some of the major pests and physiological disorders of vegetables found in Zimbabwe. The booklet has been designed so that it provides information that can be easily utilized by both technical people and farmers. Each problem is presented with a short text which gives the major information about the host plants, the demage caused, the pest, the disease or disorder description, and its development. Some guide lines for management and control are also presented. Detailed life cycles have been deliberately omitted as they are deyond the scope of this booklet.
