Based on the average distance of rank (from 1.5 to 2.0) of the last member of fixed subgroup and the first member of the next subgroup were established in the mixed herd of beef cattle. Number of animals in 4 periods in single subgroup varied and quantitative differences within fixed group and subgroup ranged from 5 to 10 percent, what was considered as quite stable result. There were 25-40 percent of animals belonging to dominant group - A, 25-45 percent beloging to submissive group - B and 25-35 percent to follower group - C. It was shown that dynamic changes had occurent in the hierarchy of the beef herd but high stability in herd hierarchy was confirmed using Speerman rank correlation between suckler cows position within the period and between 4 periods which ranged respectively: from 0.88 to 1.0 and 0.89 to 0.99
