Effect of planting date and genotypes on fruit production of tomato in Tarahara condition

A study of effect of planting date and genotypes carried out under factorial RCB design in Tarahara condition having four different planting dates viz. 17th Nov., 27th Nov., 8th Dec. and 16th Dec. 1998/99. With three genotypes. Result revealed highly significant date of planting rather than variety. Highest fruit yield was observed on the variety CL-1131 planted on first date of planting where as lowest yield was observed on the variety Pusa Ruby planted on last date of planting.
