Evaluation on different pesticide distribution techniques on apple orchards [Malus pumila Mill. - Piedmont]

إنجليزي. A research was carried out in order to detect the most suitable volume application rates (l/ha) according to the different steps of vegetative growth of the apple culture. A second aim was to verify if the choice of such volume of application rates could allow the reduction of the amount of pesticide applied per hectare. The efficacy of the treatment, carried out with an air-assisted sprayer, was determined studying the amount of product deposited on leaves, apples and on the ground. The results showed that, varying the volume applied during the season (from 300 to 500 l/ha), it is possible to obtain a better coverage of the target than using constant and higher volumes (1,000 l/ha)

E' stata condotta una ricerca mirata ad individuare i piu' idonei volumi di miscela da erogare nelle diverse epoche di sviluppo vegetativo della coltura del melo e a verificare se una corretta scelta di tali modalita' operative consentiva anche di ridurre la quantita' di fitofarmaco distribuita per ettaro. L'efficacia del trattamento, effettuato con l'impiego di una irroratrice ad aeroconvezione, e' stata valutata determinando la quantita' di prodotto pervenuta sulle foglie, sulle mele e quella finita sul terreno. I risultati ottenuti dalla sperimentazione hanno evidenziato la reale possibilita' di variare il volume distribuito nel corso della stagione vegetativa (300-500 l/ha), ottenendo nel contempo dei risultati, dal punto di vista della copertura del bersaglio, migliori di quelli ottenibili impiegando volumi costanti e piu' elevati (1.000 l/ha)
