Field trials to control Bactrocera oleae Gmel. on Coratina oil olives, using progressive dosages of 30, 40, 50 and 60 ml/hl, evidenced an effective efficacy as for dimethoate at 40 ml/hl dose, showing also a good persistency and tolerance to phytotoxicity; phosphamidon was effective as well when used at 40 ml/hl dose and evidenced almost no phytotoxic effects, but resulted poorly persistent; formothion proved to be uneffective at every used dosage, well persistent and with few phytotoxic effects
