إنجليزي. Spinosad is a new natural insecticide. Its activity is due to toxines produced by the bacterium Saccharopolispora spinosa. Spinosad acts on the nervous system of the insects in a new and unique way, which does not show cross-resistance with other modes of action. It has a high efficacy as ingestion and as contact and a large spectrum of activity, It is, at the moment, registered in a large number of Countries against many pests of fruit crops, grape, vegetables and ornamentals. This communication reports the last acquisitions on Spinosad selectivity vs beneficials in semi-field and field tests

La sua efficacia insetticida e' dovuta alle tossine prodotte dal batterio Saccharopolispora spinosa. Esso agisce sul sistema nervoso degli insetti in modo nuovo e unico nel suo genere, che non presenta resistenza crociata con altre modalita' di azione. Dotato di elevata efficacia per ingestione e per contatto, nonche' di ampio spettro di azione, e' attualmente registrato in numerosi paesi contro i piu' svariati parassiti dei fruttiferi, della vite, delle orticole ed ornamentali.
