Milevoj, L. (Ljubljana Univ. (Slovenia). Biotechnical Fac., Agronomy Dept.)
Native natural enemies are beneficial organisms which are proved to be potentially important in reducing the number of their host populations. The aim of this paper is to estimate the role and significance of native predators and parasitoids in Slovenia, especially representatives from families Coccinelidae, Chrysopidae, Cecidomyiidae, Syrphidae, Aphidiidae. Results of some feeding experiments of some native beneficial organisms from these families are analysed and their predatory and parasitoidic potentials are estimated.
