Spatial analysis of field experiments
2000
Golaszewski, J. (University of Warmia and Mazury, Olsztyn (Poland). Dep. of Plant Breeding and Seed Production)
The assumptions, numerical and examples of application of the two methods of spatial analysis in field experiments were described. There were nearest neighbour analysis and kriging. In the analyses, the data on the traits of interest or additional data on soil properties or recorded from plants in the check plots or in the vicinity of the plots can be used. Both the methods lead to the concomitant variables seizing spatial variability as the effects of compatitiveness between plants on adjacent plots and soil variability
