In the paper the phenomenological model of the short period gravity variations is discussed. The concept of collocation of gravity and the GPS data processing is suggested. The major part of the observed gravity variations is described by a tidal model and can be calculated using e.g. ETERNA. The residual part can be considered as the result of local processes that could contain an interesting geophysical information. The suggested method for gravity data processing consist of the short-term spectral analysis and synchronous detecting with calculated tides as a basic signal. It allows to detect the regular gravity variations at the level of a few microgals that are correlated with tides and are specific for the site
