إنجليزي. This work reports the preliminary results of leaf area evolution and light interception in peach trees trained to transverse Y and delayed vase during the first three years. The results obtained have pointed out that the leaf area in fruiting shoots rapidly increases during the Spring-Summer period and it is completed in September. It has also been observed that both intercepted PAR fraction and fruit production are linearly dependent on LAI
