إنجليزي. The objective of this field research was to estimate the relationship of management from weaning to oestrus interval of the sows during the Summer. A different boar exposure post weaning on two groups of 58 multiparous sows (strong stimulation by boar -treatment - and weak stimulation - control) has reduced in the treatment group the duration of the weaning-to-oestrous interval, has significantly increased the number of sows in oestrous within seven days of weaning, influencing (P0.10) the farrowing rate but not the litter size. This results indicate that the provision of regular boar contact post-weaning in Summer is likely to stimulate the frequency and an earlier interval to oestrus of multiparous sows

Una stimolazione con il verro effettuata in maniera differente nella prima settimana dopo lo svezzamento su due gruppi di 58 scrofe ha aumentato in maniera significativa la frequenza e la precocita' dell'estro nella prima settimana, mostrando la tendenza ad una maggiore fertilita' nei soggetti sottoposti ad una piu' accurata presentazione del verro. La ricerca evidenzia l'importanza del management come fattore di rischio nell'insorgenza di un allungato intervallo svezzamento calore durante l'estate
