A survey on health state of hard wheat seed harvested during the 1999 crop in Sardinia (Italy) [Triticum durum Desf.]

إنجليزي. Subject of this article is a survey carried out on the health state of hard wheat seed harvested during the 1999 crop in Sardinia (Italy). Analysis has been performed on 47 hard wheat samples of different varieties (Duilio, Ciccio, Creso, Ringo, Simeto and Colosseo) harvested in several localities of Cagliari, Oristano, Nuoro and Sassari districts. The analysis showed that the most part of samples were free from mycological infections or, at most, they revealed the presence of Alternaria spp.; epidemiologic investigations revealed a restricted number of infections by Fusarium spp. and Microdochium spp.; as a matter of fact, the highest value was found on Simeto variety (0.8% of infected seeds), while Colosseo variety did not show infections. As a general rule, it is possible to assert that hard wheat seed harvested during the 199 crop in Sardinia (Italy) has shown a very good health state

إيطالي. [Argomento di questo articolo e' un'indagine sullo stato sanitario della semente di grano duro raccolta durante la stagione 1998-1999 in Sardegna. L'analisi e' stata condotta su 47 campioni di grano duro di varieta' diverse (Duilio, Ciccio, Creso, Ringo, Simeto e Colosseo), raccolti in numerose localita' delle province di Cagliari, Oristano, Nuoro e Sassari. L'analisi ha dimostrato che la maggior parte dei campioni erano esenti da infezioni fungine o, al massimo, erano caratterizzati dalla presenza di Alternaria spp.; le indagini epidemiologiche hanno evidenziato un numero limitato di infezioni da Fusarium spp. e Microdochium spp.; il valore massimo e' stato riscontrato sulla varieta' Simeto (0,8% di semi infettati), mentre la varieta' Colosseo non presentava infezioni.
