Development of the method to obtain the yeast with increased chromium content, destined fo fodder enrichment, was the aim of carried out work. During research the influence of culture time on the chromium dose accumulated by yeast was tested. Yeast culture was carried on in the molasses wort enriched with Cr, in the form of chromium nitrate, for 24 and 48 h. Addition of the increasing doses of Cr, from 7.8 to 46.8 mg/l of culture medium, was performed. Saccharomyces cerevisiae G1 and Saccharomyces boulardi An-1 strains were used for the research. Results of studies showed that in case of both used strains with the increase of Cr dose the increase of chromium content in yeast biomass could be observed. Time of a strain culture had no influence on the amount of Cr accumulated by yeast
