New methodology to design, test and improve organic agroecosystem prototyping under Mediterranean conditions. Case study: application to a pilot farm in the South of Italy

إنجليزي. The sustainability of farming system is related to the agroecosystem equilibrium. "Agro-designing" or EAFS prototyping is one methodology that can be used to assess and monitor organic farming agroecosystem. However, methods (MCR, ENM, EIM, EEPS, ECP, FSO and MSC) and parameters chosen for monitoring must be adapted to the specific agricultural conditions to design a suitable prototype. The single farm is the nucleus of agricultural production and the main starting point not only for identifying and reducing negative environmental impacts but also to promote and develop strategies to achieve long-term agroecosystem equilibrium. The "State of the Art" of the agroecosystem " Serra del Bosco" farm, located in Gravina di Puglia (Apulia-Southern Italy) and one of the pilot farms of the Regional Apulia Organic Farming Network, is presented as a case study for the application of EAFS methodology.

فرنسي. La durabilité des systèmes de production agricole est liée à l'équilibre de l'agroécosystème. "L'agro-designing" ou "EAFS prototyping" est une méthodologie d'aménagement qui peut être employée pour évaluer et surveiller l'agroécosystème en agriculture biologique. Cependant les méthodes (MCR, ENM, EIM, EEPS, ECP, FSO et MSC) et les paramètres choisis pour le monitorage doivent être adaptés aux conditions agricoles spécifiques pour un prototype convenable. L'exploitation agricole individuelle est le noyau de la production agricole et aussi le point de départ principal non seulement pour identifier et réduire les impacts négatifs sur l'environnement mais également pour favoriser et développer des stratégies visant à réaliser l'équilibre à long terme de l' agroécosystème. En tant que cas d'étude pour l'application de la méthodologie "EAFS'', ce travail présente l'état de l'art de l'agroécosystème de l'exploitation pilote "Serra del Bosco" qui est située à Gravina di Puglia (Italie du Sud).
