Royal jelly cotains numerous biostimulators and nutrients, allowing to supplement our everyday diet. This product has a positive effect on our psyche and reduces susceptibility to stress. It is recommended mainly in the case of convalescence after complicated surgical procedures and acute diseases. It is widely used in medicine. Older people should treat royal jelly as a preventive measury. It may be administered separately or, especially in the case of serious illnesses, together with pharmacological treatment. Its application should be always consulted with the doctor. Royal jelly may be consumed in various forms, but lyophilized products are most popular and characterized by the longest shelf-life
