The aim od the study was evaluation of the lupinus luteus variety "Legat" (thermoneutral and self-completing character) on the delaying of sowing date and its interaction with plant density and yielding of seeds. It was stated that the sowing date did not affect the vigor of seed collected. An increase in plant density at the optimal date of sowing decreased the number of pods, seeds and weight of seeds per plant and slightly affected 1000 seed weight, the seed germination and vigor
