Effect of Cynkotox (Zineb) on the survival of some indicator bacteria and enteric pathogens in lake water

Survival of Escherichia coli (enteropathogenic bacteria), Streptococcus faecalis, Salmonella typhimurium and Salmonella typhi dublin was assayed in lake water (non-sterilized and sterilized) treated with different amounts of Cynkotox. The tests were carried out in the dark at 20 deg C, in two parallel replications (in monoculture), until complete death of the strains of bacteria
