Experiments were carried out in 1997-99. The aim of the experiments was to establish the influence of green manure residues (oat, vetch and field pea, and of mixtures of these plants) and forms and their ploughing on the yielding of white cabbages cultivar Amager, in comparison with fertilization with farmyard manure in dose 25 t/ha. After the use of forecrops manures, without mixture of vetch oat and field pea, lower crops of cabbage were obtained with comparison with fertilization with farmyard manure. The lowest crops of cabbage were obtained after vetch (65.24 t/ha), oat (68.23 t/ha), to mixture of oat and field pea (65.90 t/ha). Cabbage best yielded after mixture of vetch witch oat and field pea (85.04 t/ha), farmyard manure (79.44 t /ha), to mixture of vetch and field pea (78.38 t/ha) and field pea (73.81 t/ha). Cabbage yields were also positively influenced by forecrop plant residues ploughed down after harvest
