Genetic structure at the alpha sub (s1)-casein locus in Val di Livo goat [Lombardy]

إنجليزي. The Val di Livo goat, an autochthonous population of the Alps, has a highly polymorphic visible phenotypic profile. The present research describes the genetic variability at the alpha sub (s1)-casein locus in this population. Analyses were carried out by IEF on 139 individual milk samples and by PCR techniques on 151 genomic DNA samples. Seven alfa sub (s1)-casein genotypes were detected. The F/F genotype had a particularly high frequency (54.3%). The allelic frequencies were the highest for the F allele (73.8%), followed by E (14.9%) and 0 (9%). The lowest frequency was observed for the strong alleles (2.3%). The genetic structure at the CSN1S1 locus in the Val di Livo goat was found to be similar to those of other autochthonous goat breeds of the Lombardy Alps, there being the marked presence of the weak alleles, like F and E, and a very low one of the strong

إيطالي. [La capra Val di Livo, una popolazione autoctona delle Alpi, ha un profilo fenotipico visibile altamente polimorfico. La presente ricerca descrive la variabilita' genetica al locus della caseina alfa inf (s1) in questa popolazione. Le analisi sono state effettuate mediante focalizzazione isoelettrica su 139 campioni individuali di latte e mediante tecniche PCR su 151 campioni di DNA genomico. Sono stati individuati sette genotipi di caseina alfa inf (s1). Il genotipo F/F presentava una frequenza particolarmente elevata (54,3%). Le frequenze alleliche erano le piu' elevate per l'allele F (73,8%), seguito da E (14,9%) e da 0 (9%). La frequenza piu' bassa si osservava per gli alleli forti (2,3%).
