إنجليزي. A field soil solarization trial with green EVA coextruded and ETFE films was carried out in Calabria region (Southern Italy) to evaluate the effectiveness on Sclerotium cepivorum sclerotia buried at 20 cm depth in the soil. The mortality of sclerotia was measured after 10, 20 and 30 days of solarization. The mortality was total after 20 days with both the tested films. In the control plots, at 30 days, a 28% mortality was measured

Si riportano i risultati di una prova di solarizzazione del terreno in pieno campo con film di EVA (etilene vinil acetato) coestruso verde ed ETFE (etilene tetrafluoroetilene), realizzata in Calabria per valutare l'efficacia su un inoculo artificiale di sclerozi di Sclerotium cepivorum posti a 20 cm di profondita' nel terreno. La mortalita' degli sclerozi e' stata determinata dopo 10, 20 e 30 giorni dall'inizio del trattamento. A 20 giorni la mortalita' dell'inoculo e' stata totale con entrambi i film. A 30 giorni, nel terreno nudo, e' stata rilevata una mortalita' del 28%.
