إنجليزي. The definition of the size and the shape of the Wet Volume of the Soil (WVS) in a micro-irrigation system is fundamental for the design and the programming of the irrigation system. Consequently, the study shows a methodology and a kit (KMWVS) that, based on the correlation between "Electric Resistance" (omega) and "Volumetric Content of Water" (theta), allows to define the perimeter and capacity of the WVS. Also are presented experimental results showing the influence of the size of WSH, at the same irrigation level, on the yield of the olive tree.

La definición del tamaño y forma del Volumen de Suelo Húmedo (VSH), en un sistema de micro-irrigación, es fundamental para el diseño y programación del sistema de riego. En este sentido, el trabajo indica una metodología y un equipo (EMVSH) que, basados en la correlación entre "Resistencia Eléctrica" (omega) y "Contenido Volumétrico de Agua" (teta) , permiten definir el contorno y capacidad del VSH. Asimismo se presentan resultados experimentales que demuestran la influencia del tamaño del VSH, a igualdad de la dosis de riego, sobre la producción del olivo.
